Dorothy Law Nolten (1924-2005) è stata una famosa scrittrice e counselor familiare americana. Nel 1954 pubblicò il suo poema “Children Learn What They Live” nella colonna settimanale dedicata ai genitori. Il poema passò di mano in mano è migliaia di genitori e futuri genitori lessero la poesia di Dorothy.
